My camera takes great pictures, but it is large and not always convenient to take into the field.ReBecca Hunt-Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05531577104733601336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3467242881996852098.post-58588089933737246082008-04-05T12:43:00.000-07:002008-04-05T12:43:00.000-07:00I'm in the market for a new one right now. . .up u...I'm in the market for a new one right now. . .up until last summer I used a Nikon Coolpix 5400. A pretty good camera on most counts, except for when it died in the middle of a field season in a developing country. I've been limping by on borrowed cameras, for now. Most cameras I've seen (even the el cheapo ones) have a movie function.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16171447306687358664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3467242881996852098.post-22341647418022443062008-04-05T11:51:00.000-07:002008-04-05T11:51:00.000-07:00More often that not I still take all of my notes a...More often that not I still take all of my notes and measurements in a notebook. I also have a spread sheet that I will transfer my measurements into (although not always as often as I should). <BR/>I organize my digital photos the same way, and label pictures by their specimen number typically. I try to have them sorted within a file by location.<BR/>Good idea with the film footage. I do not have a camera with that function, but I can use my phone that way. Might have to do that till I can upgrade to a different camera. What kind of camera do you use?ReBecca Hunt-Fosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05531577104733601336noreply@blogger.com
